Meet The Author
Kayla Monville is a devoted wife and mother of two wonderful children on the Autism Spectrum. She holds a master’s degree in Special Education from Saginaw Valley State University and has been an educator for 13 years, teaching both general and special education. Currently, she teaches the Education Academy to future educators at a career and technical school.
Kayla is passionate about writing, photography, and travel, aiming to capture her family's memories and provide her children with enriching experiences. Her favorite quiet pastime is reading a book while savoring a hot cup of coffee.
The Monville family loves the outdoors, particularly warm destinations with water. They are an active family that embraces every opportunity to stay engaged and involved.
Driven by her love for her children and her diverse educational background, Kayla is committed to creating books that resonate with all families. She hopes her books will serve as valuable resources for families, educators, and professionals to promote Autism acceptance, awareness, and to celebrate the unique qualities of children.
